Application examples
Repairing of missing holes, blowholes and all cracks on metal, wood and plastic. Mechanical processing is possible after a short time. Parts can be sanded, milled, drilled and painted over.
Processing instructions
The parts to be repaired must be clean and free of oil and grease. Roughening increases the strength. Mechanical processing can be carried out after 30 minutes. Final curing takes place after 24 hours. Do not use below 5°C outside temperature. After use, reseal cartridge. MD-met 25 g can be processed with or without mixing nozzle. MD-met in 50 g cartridges can be processed without mixing.
Note on 25 ml cartridges
Carry out test bonding beforehand. At lower temperatures the processing and curing time for adhesives is extended, at higher temperatures it is shortened. The higher the processing temperature of the cartridge, the easier it is to squeeze the paste-like adhesive out of the cartridge. At low ambient temperatures, the cartridge must be heated to at least +20° C or higher to ensure easy squeezing out of the cartridge. Due to the viscosity of the material, it is difficult to squeeze out the 25ml cartridges by hand. It is recommended to insert the 25ml cartridges into a half-shell squeezing gun for 310ml cartridges and squeeze them out with it.
