Are Vebatec Flex and Profidicht suitable for bonding tiles to a canopy?
The task consisted of securing and fastening roof tiles on a canopy that has a substructure with aluminium elements. The products Vebatec Flex Baustoffkleber and Vebatec Profidicht in brown were used for this purpose. The Profidicht was chosen because of the colour of the first row of tiles in brown.
The two products from Vebatec are so well suited because of their excellent adhesion to aluminium as well as to the roof tiles. Once the curing process is complete, both products still remain permanently elastic - this gives the materials the opportunity to expand to different degrees during the temperature fluctuations between winter and summer. Since the entire width of the canopy was bonded, the lifting of tiles by strong winds is also prevented.
