Properties
This HDPE protective layer has a breaking elongation in longitudinal as well as in transverse direction of almost 500 %, has excellent thermal stability and ageing resistance.
Bituflex film can be processed without the use of hot air or propane gas flame, even on matt damp or cold (down to -10°C) substrates. Due to its great suppleness, Bituflex film can also be applied to difficult detail points without any problems.
Bituflex-Folie is a cold self-adhesive, bituminous sealing film with a highly tear-resistant, double-laminated protective film made of HDPE with excellent mechanical properties in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
Fields of application
For waterproofing vertical and horizontal surfaces of structures and building components against ground moisture, non-pressing water and on suitable building construction (the waterproofing forms a closed tank or encloses the structure on all sides) tested quality DIN 18533 of the Building Rules List up to load case 5.
Can be used inside and outside on the positive side. As a waterproofing against capillary rising damp and as a water vapour barrier in the floor area under screeds. Can also be used in overhead areas.
Bituflex film is ideal for waterproofing buildings and is particularly suitable for waterproofing basements, foundations, balconies, terraces, garage flat roofs, wet rooms, retaining walls, underground garages, etc.
Caution: Do not use in facades or as window sealing tape.
