Can Vebatec Water-Stop fibre-reinforced be used on a caravan roof?
Vebatec Waterstop fibre-reinforced is not recommended for use on a caravan roof: The fibre content makes an even application on larger surfaces much more difficult. As a result, an even layer thickness (and thus also an appealing appearance) can hardly be implemented on this size of surface.
Vebatec Water-Stop fibre-reinforced, on the other hand, is mainly used for partial repairs. For large-scale repairs, however, the following procedure is recommended: Repair the leaks in advance using Vebatec Caravan Adhesive and, for example, gluing on metal strips in the case of cracks or by taping over cracks with Vebatec Caravan Repair Tape Fleece Laminated. The surface can then be painted over using Vebatec Water-Stop.
