Colouring Vebatec Sprint putty

The following procedure is recommended to match the Vebatec Sprint filler with pigments to the substrate to be repaired (it is possible to mix the Vebatec colour pigments with each other):

  • Providing the required pigments (the shade grey, for example, can be produced with black and white pigments).
  • Removal of one component of the Vebatec Sprint filler in the required quantity from the container. It is not relevant whether this is component A or B.
  • Place a clear glass pane immediately next to the damaged area, then apply the component previously taken from the container to the glass pane. Then add the pigments and mix until the mass on the glass pane has been evenly coloured by the pigments.
  • The colour of the substrate can be seen through the glass pane; the coloured component of the Sprint filler is now on the glass pane.
  • If there are still differences in colour between the substrate and the coloured putty, the colour of the putty can be changed by adding more pigments until it matches the substrate.
  • The second component of the Sprint filler can then be added. Mix this directly with the coloured first component and apply immediately afterwards.
