This plastic tarpaulin or multi-purpose tarpaulin ("light quality") consists of a ribbon fabric (HDPE) coated on both sides with LDPE film, which has a weight per unit area of 100 g/m². Due to the carrier fabric made of polyethylene (ribbon fabric), the tarpaulin is very tear-resistant and also hard-wearing despite its low weight per unit area.
The edge with an approx. 4cm wide hem is reinforced and has an integrated PP cord. Aluminium eyelets with an inner diameter of 12mm are attached at 100cm intervals. This allows the tarpaulin to be easily fastened or fixed with expander hooks, expander loops or cable ties.
The tarpaulin is also suitable for short-term outdoor use and as wind and weather protection, for example at a garden party.
