Product description
The 2-component adhesive SANREMO MEGA 2050 is a high-strength, fast-curing methyl methacrylate structural adhesive that forms a hard, permanent bond with plastics, metals and other materials. It is free from isocyanate, phthalates, solvents, PVC and silicone.
Processing
MEGA 2050 has very good adhesive properties to metals, painted surfaces, aluminium PVC, glass fibre reinforced plastic, ABS, polycarbonate and plastic materials.
MEGA 2050 can be overpainted with most types of lacquer. Note! If in doubt about the substrate to be bonded, test the strength on a sample of the substrate.
Application temperature substrate between 15 ° C and 25 ° C The surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Clean the substrates with residue-free cleaners, e.g. acetone. Apply MEGA 2050 with manual and pneumatic squeeze guns.
Mixing: Connect the mixing tip to the cartridge and squeeze out a 2 cm bead, do not use this to ensure that there is subsequently a 100% mixture of the two components. After applying the adhesive, assemble the workpieces, within the working time, and fix them until the adhesive has cured.
