Removing Flex, Hightack and Profidicht in practice
Many customers ask themselves how the popular products Vebatec Flex, Vebatec Hightack and Vebatec Profidicht can be removed after application. When fresh, i.e. not yet dried out, these products can be easily removed with acetone. It should be noted, however, that the application of acetone often also changes the respective substrate.
However, it is more difficult to remove the products in a hardened state: Basically, this is only possible mechanically or by applying heat.
Mechanically, the adhesives & sealants can be removed by cutting or peeling them off the surface.
When heat is applied, however, the adhesive or sealant in question will detach from the surface if it is heated to over 120°C.
