Product description
SANREMO BITUMENSPACHTEL is a solvent-free, 1-component, stable filler based on a bitumen emulsion. For repairs, waterproofing and filling work that does not have to be carried out according to standards or other regulations. The product is a thermoplastic material: At high temperatures the material is and remains softer, more elastic than at low temperatures.
Application
For partial repairs. Leaks on roofs, skylights and building structures. For sealing joints and cracks. Filling on bituminous substrates. For horizontal and vertical surfaces. Sealing joints on bituminous membranes. Sealing of horizontal surfaces (e.g. bitumen sheeting) to vertical surfaces (e.g.: rising masonry). For sealing of: Roof connections, inlets, vents.
Not to be used as a full-surface coating.
Regulations, standards and ordinances must be observed during application.
Application
The substrate must be dry, level, load-bearing, frost-free, clean and free from oil, grease, tar, gravel pockets, cracks, dust, dirt, mortar residues and other impurities.
SANREMO BITUMENSPACHTEL is ready to use and is applied directly from the container by trowel, smoothing trowel or toothed trowel in the required layer thickness onto the cleaned substrate.
Protect the freshly applied material from rain, frost and strong sunlight until it is completely dry. In general, and especially in areas in contact with the ground or filled with soil, do not cover the surface until it is completely dry. If this is not done, trapped moisture cannot escape and can cause damage to the building. Even when used between 2 non-absorbent substrates, ensure that SANREMO BITUMENSPACHTEL is completely dry until the work is completed.
After the filler has dried, further SANREMO BITUMENSPACHTEL can be applied. The principles of surface preparation must be observed.
A layer thickness of up to 2 cm can be applied horizontally per work step.

If your order exceeds one piece and therefore the shipping weight is higher than 25kg or if more than one shipping package is necessary for your order or if the receiving location is outside of Germany, different shipping costs will apply.
