Product description
- Solvent-based contact adhesive
- Bonding of EPDM films, rubber materials, sealing membranes, to each other and to structural substrates such as: Concrete, stone, masonry, eternit, wood, metal and many more.
- Versatile adhesive for bonding e.g.: EPDM foils, polyethylene foils (e.g. as vapour barrier), polyethylene foam, polyurethane hard or soft foam, PVC hard, with each other and on various substrates.
- Not suitable for PVC soft adhesives and polystyrene foam.
- Good moisture and UV resistance
- Very good initial adhesion (contact adhesion)
- Temperature resistance -20°C to +60°C
In general, and especially for solvent-sensitive substrates, carry out test bonding.
Processing
The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Apply the adhesive thinly and evenly to both parts to be bonded. After a waiting time, depending on temperature and humidity, place the parts together and press on well. Suitable: Plastic roller. The waiting time depends on room temperature, application thickness, absorbency, the substrate, etc. The parts should be joined when the adhesive film is still slightly tacky, but no longer sticks to the finger when light finger pressure is applied.
