PLASTIC SIEVE SLEEVE
When installing in hollow masonry, use a screen sleeve. Insert sieve sleeve into the drilled hole. Then fill sieve sleeve completely with composite mortar. Then screw the threaded rod / anchor into the sieve sleeve with rotating movements.
By screwing in the threaded rod, air pockets in the composite mortar are removed,
the composite mortar presses through the perforations of the sieve sleeve and bonds with the surrounding base material.
The sieve sleeve performs 2 functions:
- Holds the anchor rod/threaded rod in place.
- Prevents bonded mortar from inadvertently seeping into the cavities of the stone.
