Absorbent substrates such as sandstone approx. 6-8 m²/litre, artificial stone approx. 10-12 m²/litre, polished natural stones such as marble, granite approx. 20-25 m²/litre. When applying a second coat, this quantity is halved, as the pores are already more closed.
The surface to be treated must be dry, clean, free of stains and absorbent. The effect is increased the more material can penetrate the facade surface. Shake the container well before use.
The optimum application temperature is between +10 °C and +25 °C. Do not apply to strongly heated surfaces. Apply sparingly and evenly by spraying (pressure sprayer, spray bottle) or brushing (brush, foam roller). Do not apply too thickly. Wipe off all excess material before it dries. The product must not come to a standstill on the surface. (It must be completely absorbed.) For weakly absorbent surfaces, apply only a very thin layer. When treating vertical surfaces, avoid dripping. Remove drips immediately. On highly absorbent substrates, a second application may be necessary until visual saturation occurs. Always allow a waiting time of approx. 10 minutes between each application. When properly applied, the drying time is approx. 30 minutes. Colour deepening/refreshing may occur.
Notes:
Use product only undiluted. Treat only completely dry coverings. For newly laid surfaces, always allow a waiting period of approx. 8 weeks. Wait approx. 3 days after a rain shower. Do not apply in strong sunlight, strong wind or rain. Do not bring into contact with glass surfaces. The freshly treated surface should be protected from rain for at least 24 hours. The surface can be fully used after 24 hours at the latest. Not all stone is the same: Generally, a trial application should be carried out on a concealed area. Improper handling will void any liability for possible damage.
