The use of Vebatec Profidicht with adhesive primer
Even on its own, Vebatec Profidicht has very good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. However, when applying Vebatec Profidicht on highly absorbent substrates as well as on sealants that are subject to heavy loads, it is still recommended to treat the respective substrate with an adhesion promoter or primer before applying the Profidicht.
The adhesion promoter / primer Vebatec HS21, which is intended for absorbent substrates, and Vebatec HN2, which is intended for non-absorbent substrates, are ideal for this purpose.
They can be applied to the substrate after preparing the substrate as described in the technical information for the respective products. After waiting for the drying time, the primer provides an optimal substrate for the adhesion of the Vebatec Profidicht.
