Description:
Vebatec HT300 is an elastic, temperature resistant one-component sealant + adhesive based on silicone, acetic acid curing, heat resistant. Vebatec HT300 cures (vulcanizes) under the influence of humidity to a permanently elastic silicone rubber. Acetic acid is split off during the curing process.
Properties:
In the cured state, Vebatec HT300 is heat resistant between -50°C and +280°C. Short-term up to 300°C.
Vebatec HT300 is ageing resistant and lightfast, adhesion to many substrates is given.
Vebatec HT300 is resistant to diluted alkalis and acids, is physiologically harmless when set. Vebatec HT300 is not paintable.
Application:
Vebatec HT300 is excellently suited to many areas in the industrial, construction and domestic sectors where high temperature resistance is required. HT 300 can be used as a heat-resistant adhesive or temperature-resistant sealant, e.g. for bonding on ovens: bonding of oven panes, metal cladding, insulating material and many more.
The expansion, compression stress of Vebatec HT300 should not exceed 20% of the joint width. The general rules of joint dimensioning apply.
