Description:
Montagefix is a 1-component high quality fixing adhesive with extreme initial adhesion, but long adjustable.
The product is stable and odorless.
Application:
Bonding of metals, various plastics and wooden components to concrete, masonry, plaster, etc. Bonding of wood materials, decorative and insulating panels e.g. polystyrene, skirting boards, PVC cable ducts, plasterboard, stucco and ceiling profiles, profiled boards, door linings, wall cladding.
Montagefix should not be used in sanitary areas, for bonding mirrors and glass, acrylic glass, and on bituminous substrates and substrates in contact with the ground.
For weathered outdoor applications and non-corrosion protected metals and non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of Vebatec BSK Baustoffkleber, construction adhesive.
The surfaces to be bonded must be load-bearing, free of dust and grease, remove loose particles. Pre-clean non-absorbent substrates with acetone or methylated spirit. Compatibility of coatings and plastics with Montagefix must be given, carry out preliminary tests if necessary.
