Description
Spezial is a versatile, elastoplastic, permanently crack-bridging sealant, silicone-free, with cold-curing properties. Spezial does not become brittle even at temperatures below 0° C. The material is stable and resistant to dilute acids and alkalis, industrial fumes and weathering.
Spezial is immediately rainproof, quickly skin-forming, highly ductile, frost-resistant, plasticizer-free, and can be used even in extreme weather conditions.
Application
Roof, wall and floor areas. On bituminous materials, roofing membranes, thick coatings, concrete, stone, plaster, glass, brick, cement fiber boards, plastics, metals and many more. Use also on rain-wet, non-absorbent substrates. Special is used for sealing connections and penetrations in roof, wall and floor areas, e.g. for repairing small leaks and open roof membrane seams on flat roofs. Sealing of skylights, sheet metal flashings, chimney connections, etc. Filling of joints and penetrations. For closing cracks and joints with low movement absorption. For repairing leaking gutters and flashings made of aluminum, lead, copper or zinc. For sealing flashings and for bonding to absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. Sealing of light wells, wall and floor joints.
