Description:
Vebatec MMA 5 is a versatile joint filling material. The adhesive cures to a solid, temperature-resistant mass and is resistant to a wide range of chemical influences e.g.: fuels such as gasoline, diesel, as well as oils, greases, water, water-containing chemicals and many more.
Application:
Bonding metals, a variety of plastics such as: PVC, acrylic, polyester, FRP, vinyl ester, ABS, epoxies, thermoplastics and many more. High strength, temperature resistant bonding. After curing, loadable up to 120°C. Bonding with the same or different material combinations. Use in metal construction, vehicle and body construction, model making, plastics processing, conservatory construction, swimming pool technology, apparatus construction for the chemical industry and many more.
Not suitable for permanent use in acids, bases and aggressive organic solutions such as: Toluene, ketone, ester. Low energy adhesives are not bondable e.g..: Polyolefins, fluorocarbonates, PE, PP.
