Product description
The 2-component high-performance adhesive SANREMO MEGA 2020 can be used where other adhesives do not achieve the required strength. SANREMO MEGA 2020 ADHESIVE is a versatile, joint-filling material. The adhesive cures to a solid, temperature-resistant mass and is resistant to a wide range of chemical influences.
Product application
Bonding of metals, a variety of plastics such as: PVC, acrylic, polyester, GRP, vinyl ester, ABS, epoxies, thermoplastics, glass/glass and many more. High strength,
temperature-resistant bonding. After curing, loadable up to 120°C. Bonding with the same or different material combinations.
Not suitable for permanent use in acids, bases and aggressive organic solutions such as: Toluene, ketone, ester.
Low energy plastics are not bondable e.g.: PE, PP, polyolefins, fluorocarbonates.
Product processing
Preparation: The surfaces to be bonded must be clean and free of oil and grease. (e.g. clean with SANREMO ACETON). Substrate: Firm and load-bearing. Excellent results are achieved by mechanically roughening the bonding surface.
Application: MEGA 2020: Unscrew cap, screw mixing tube onto cartridge, squeeze out cartridge contents. Mix components A + B in the mixing tube. Do not use the first cm of the mixed adhesive that comes out,
do not use it. (Due to different entry of the components into the mixing tube
the mixing tube at the beginning of the squeezing process, the components may
uneven mixing of the components).
Use the following adhesive. Apply within 4 minutes. Join and fix parts together - allow to cure for 24 hours (approx. 75% of final strength already after 2 hours at room temperature). Processing should be carried out at room temperature (approx. +20°C). Higher temperatures e.g. +40°C shorten the positioning and curing times by approx. 30%; low temperatures around +10°C increase the respective times by approx. 50%, until from +5°C almost no reaction takes place.
The setting time is shortened at high temperatures and lengthened at lower temperatures. Store opened cartridges in a cool and dry place. Larger quantities develop a higher thermal reaction and cure faster. Harmful and flammable vapours may be produced during curing. Use product in well-ventilated areas and minimise personal contact.

Use in metal construction, vehicle and body construction, model making, plastics processing, conservatory construction, swimming pool technology, apparatus construction for the chemical industry, etc.
